We had ocean front land for sale and used an attorney Bernard Georges actually he solicitated me to represent us. We agreed to a $ sum and when it didn't sell for some months and despite all the promises of no sale he sold it anyway. He had a power of attorney which we told him we withdrew, not once in the following over two years did we know anything. Then we find out he sold our Machabee ocean front to a grade school friend of his for 1/3 the asking price and even fraudulented the sale price at 10%. He kept the money we wanted the land back for lack of payment and now 10 years plus nothing. The very same property that we wanted $210K is now on the market for $2.6 million. Despite trying to get legal helf nothing a lawyer or two sat on the case for years, one even said we were given wrongfull advise. Fact is you are dealing with a bunch of criminals and there is no law to enforce the law on the books. The lawyers make up the laws as they go basically the country is so corrupt and it is everyone for themselves. The country is bankrupt and per a world study is the most endebted country in the world. They get 14 ft of rain a year but due to leaking old pipes they loose 50% before the treated water reaches the people. So they desalinate have you tasted that stuff yuk closer to toilet water than rain water now they need more desalination plants. America can't even afford to desalinate yet the Seychelles a bankrupt country does forex is non existant and if found cost 2-3 tmes the official rate. Once known as paradise it is bankrupt and so corrupt nothing works and the people suffer. I lived there for 19 years and they are at a new low, so low they are filling in the bays to make land and destroying what made the country so beautifull. Beware of investing there as u could be throwing your money away. Given the state of Indian business befor 1991 Multi party, the Indian merchant community in Seychelles had been greatly curtalied - with our SIROP exile return program they regain their freedom to engage in business and the national economy at any level or areas, those that have made very great wealth from the Indian community since 1991. Equally those who wish at any level to work with Africa, we have been educated in Africa, sisters and brothers, many relatives lived their and know the AU community in EU. We do believe we have address the web master an email - we never got a reply to, on the above issue. On behalf of the Seychelles community in the EU we have enderoured to put together a portal - Among one of our work we have assisted Seychelles Government and its international corporate associate in very many of its corporate interest the past 25 years. The least we had expected if nobody in Seychelles, EU or other part of the world we strived terribly hard to put together that program SIROP 1986 - 1991, those who benefited, the return of multi party politic, some form of compensation, liberalisation of business, appreciation of property values and those with resource to develop their property. Very few individuals have said thank you. We have live in EU for nearly 30 years - we address the many nations where a seychellois community is to be found - we have taken the time to study, appraise, come to know and cherish our French particularly archaic,fraternal, christian values, their history and where we once came from and this same values we intend to give to our children and grand children. Least of all say thank you. You need money to build a community and its infrastructures. We are aware those - the many of you who gives, dedicate your time, money, resources and philatrophic contributions towards our EU Seychelles Community cause, your national voluntary institutions and agencies. However, we are owed substantial amount of money by FA Rene and his corporate associate - we have strived in business manner and in the tradition of our ancestors to get them to pay us some of this money - our intention to invest in our community infrastructures. To date this have not happened. Yet we have continued to support and build Seychelles economy. We have explained the terrible we have encountered to put that portal together - if could have been vastly different. We have had to do this with the very basic. Those very many multinationals who have benefited in billions of Euros since that portal went online and very, very many across the EU. As those with responsible to lead the affairs of our Seychelles EU Community make it our responsibility - duty to be informed and up to date with the very many EU directives, laws and regualtions. As the author and conceptor of the SIROP program - with other important EU involvements, world involvements, Indian Ocean, AU, Asia, Russia, China - we have been addressing a number of burning issues via various Forums. In Seychelles 40 years ago we had archaic/fraternal institutions, in EU and across the EU the very important interconnection mechanism, institutions which make the EU society. The Seychelles EU Comunity - French/European archaic/fraternal aspect make historic contributions to changes in Poland, the COMECON, Warsaw Pact, Berlin Wall - German Reunification and changes in USSR. These are just EU issues the very great many intellectuals who prefer to listen to what the media have cooked up, politicians who want their cause and other institutions. AS they say in English the spins. Hence we have a very grave problem not just in EU, in the Indian Ocean, AU, Asia the prevailing practice - ethical practices. We form part of network who know where the world is going - what make it work and keep it working. In Seychelles only today the Italian Embassador have express his country intention to use Seychelles as role model for Italy - AU nation example. We have both very important church, and archaic/fraternal association with Italy, those who refuse to listen when we say we have made very great contributions through our Seychelles EU archaic/fraternal network that Seychelles enjoy the present economic and social progress and its role in the AU. Because we have important involvement in greater aspect of Germany functioning as such in other region of the world. We wish to underline our concern on this German Forum of future development in Seychelles the next 5 years not 10 as is the normal international requirement. The preassures on the nation to perform - mostly our Seychelles EU community infrastructures, from the EU Commission, the Parliament, the media and very many institutions in EU to assist us to inprove our resources and working. However I would love to have an explanation of the level of poverty that plagued the island when i visited in 1970s and the fact that land where acquired at peanut values or it's rightful owner(the poor creol that is) serve as servants or labourers on it.
